yo. this blog post is for the 13th of november, when i didnt blog.
the breakfast was ok. then we went for lessons! spent like half an hour plus trying to convince our teacher to bring us out. after a LONG LONG time of persuasion and our sad grounded story, we managed to convince her to bring us out tomorrow. however, we also have a mini written test and a 'speech' tomorrow. GAH. then of course, we completed our last lesson that is supposed to be tested tomorrow. right. class was really interesting. sec2s were flirting around. especially the sec2s from RGS. EWW.
lunch was still boring.
after lunch claire and i went back to my room to check email and send giam the confirmed list of drill com participants. as claire had to leave halfway through our discussion, we hadn to make it really quick. IM TOTALLY SURE ive never typed as fast as that in my life.
after that SHORT SHORT interval of about 45minutes, half of the group had to go for our chinese painting lessons, and the other half had to go for kungfu lessons. its part of the entire 'learning about the culture' thing. and because they broke the entire group exactly in half, 9 of the sec3s got stuck with ALL the guys. (the sec2s are in the beginning of the master namelist and the sec3s are organised by class and index number in class, then followed by the guys). SO SUAY. haha. we were taught how to paint trees for chinese painting. our teacher was really good at it! she did a 3 second demo, which she supposedly said was anyhow done, and it was totally WOW. haha then of course we also tried drawing trees. mine turned out horrible. no artistic talent whatsoever. it looked more like a blot of ink with random colours on it rather than a tree with leaves. and my mountain in the background looked as if i spilt ink on the paper and tried to wash it off unsuccessfully with water. im positive that the little kids in kindergarden can draw better than me.
following the chinese painting was cultural lesson number 2. it was time for my half of the class to do kungfu. unfortunately, it started to rain, so we couldnt do kungfu outside and ended up doing kungfu on a squished up small space on the 11th floor. the RI guys were totally enthu about doing kungfu while the girls were just standing there trying our hardest to do the poses without looking stupid and going 'WTH?' lol.
after that our teachers were SUPER nice. even though we were grounded, the teachers brought the entire lot of us out to the nearest supermarket. it was super fun! all of us were like little kids again! we were armed with all our money and went squealing all the way to the supermarket! haha. the teachers were running around trying to get us all in line! just like mums! haha. when we finally reached the supermarket, my roommates and i ran off in the first direction we saw, which was directly into the supermarket. we really bought tons and tons of stuff. like 7 packs of chips, 2 bowls of cup mee, sweets and all sorts of random stuff. we bought like SGD$32 worth of stuff. haha. really cool.
went back to the dorm for dinner. nothing interesting after that. cuier and i went to play pool yesterday. haha. and even though there was a test the next day, i only started studying at 11pm. DIE. haha.
ok. that's all for the day.
